I do hope I can my iMac back by Friday.I could look at blogs when it decide be good but didn’t dare leave comments because it just love to restarted on it’s own. But I got everything back up in the end. I’ll be getting a new 1T hard drive and upgrading to Snow Leopard. Yes, Lion is out but I got some old programs I don’t want to upgrade.

And I’m so glad I brought a iPad

Part of me would like to go back. I do miss Wordperfect and miss Printshop too. however in the end, I will go back. Apple prices for the iMac are getting a little to high for my taste. The other things that pushing me back to Pc. Trying get them repair is easy than a Mac. Well, part of my problem is this area. I thought I was going have to make a 60 mile trip into NJ to get this fix. But a little internet searching and I found a place in Hawley. I still have to call them to make sure they can do hard drive replacement. One never knows.

So I’m not being quiet, just waiting for the iMac to be fixed. I can only do so much on this iPad.

So at what date, do I start wishing these wonderful green leaves away?

And when one is taking pictures, one must make sure that lens stabilizer is on.  Yea, too shots got ruin and I didn’t realize it. Yes, not happy about that either. The ferns only stay at that length for s short time.  By the way, have you seen my missing sd card? I swear I left on my dresser.

Collages are fun and challenging too. It’s hard to decide when you are done with it, when you keep finding wonderful stuff in old magazines. (Ah yes, it pays sometimes to work at a library).  Another hard part, do you follow your guts or do you play it safe ? I always wanted to do some kind abstract stuff in a art form. Tried painting, doing some on Photoshop is good but sometimes never satisfying, . Yet, it’s the collages that finally snag this wild heart.

One these days I’ll post them, so I figure out a good way to photograph them. I wish I had a scanner!!!

Maybe this week, Spring will open to all it’s wonderful glory.  Maybe the hummingbird that came to the feeder today, brought it on it’s wings. I just hope it comes back tomorrow. Would like to snap its picture and post it.

Then maybe, that bunch of snowflakes I saw last Friday will be the last ones. Though seeing them did brighten up my breakfast.

Kinda hoping for a rainy afternoon for tomorrow too. Then I can settled down in front of this computer with a cup of tea. Then really weed through my photos and get what’s left onto to external hard drive. Plus do some weeding of my home folder. Really got some junk that needs to be clean out.

Then again, I could just work on some collages too.

a touch of Christmas colors in April

Ok who groan with that caption. But I did see some frozen stuff coming from the sky during the day. Never really lasting that long but still funny to watch it.  I’ll admit, there was part that wanted to see one more burst of snowflakes. Unlike some parts of western PA. Yea, they got a couple inches of snow!!! Hehehehe . But this weekend rain was badly needed. Now the trees will burst open and filled the empty spaces.

The International Wolf Center has now two new pups and they are so adorable!!! Their temporary names are Bolts for the male and Peanut for the female. The best part with this litter, they have one those streaming web cam.  It went live this morning and it was fun to check on them during work. Boss didn’t really care because she was watching them on her computer. Sadly there’s no sound but the center does do a weekly youtube video. When this week’s comes out I’ll post it. Looking forward to watching them grow.

Spent Saturday working on revising the old poems. Some got their lines rearranged, some got new lines. I’m sure a few later on, will get that hatchet. 

The green is getting bolder by the day. soon the wind will be singing another tune. I miss hearing the leaves rustling before a thunderstorm.

Can I just have some normal sporing weather. But -

That 90 day did help pop out the leaves, so there’s some wonderful green fuzz to look out! Now can just get a couple days of some nice soaking rain.

I need a good excuse to curl up with a book with a cup of tea. 

It’s too early for 80 degrees weather!!! Still looking for a prefect Spring day. Hopefully on  the day I’m home.

Have been watching some of the Titanic shows, which makes me sad. Such a terrible loss lives! Oh course two years later, World War I started, that was one ghastly war!!!! The world was never the same after that.

Broke down and reading the Hunger Games trilogy.  Hunger Games was good, Catching Fire wasn’t too bad. Mocking Jay ? Really having trouble getting into it. Just not really finding it that well written.

I realize something, I really need to do a massive weeding of my photos. need to ruthless and chalk up the Raw files as a lost for the most part. I just can’t really be bother with Raw anymore. I’m not professional photographer, just somebody who loves to shoot photos.

Ugh! it’s some warm right now, which is going 11pm. I still have flannel sheets on my beds.

Looking forward to this weekend, need to catch up on my sleep!
