Surprise!!!!

Did I say in the last post that spring was coming. Well I woke up this morning and found this -

bit of fall still hangs around

About 3.5 inches of snow fell over night. Now weather people only forecast a dusting that would be erase by the rain later on. I’m not complaining, I was able to photograph the snow and enjoy it for a change. Who knows, maybe this will be the start of the snow season.

Spring is coming -

well eventually is will show up. However I’m looking forward turning the calender page next week.  Tired of the hearts and romantics gestures that’s gracing the page.

Also need green!!! Tired of the bare branches. I miss hearing the leaves rustle as the wind gently goes between them. Robins are in North Carolina according to my aunt who lives there. Maybe I’ll see some for my birthday. Hummingbirds are a long way off but the 2012 map is up.

Plus a need a good warm day, tired of walking with a cold wind shortening my walks. There’s times where I like to stop and just listen to all the outside sound. Then wonder how can you not believe there’s a God. There is something greater than us mere humans.

But this weekend will be spent watching racecars trying not to wreck each other. I’ll bad and hope a certain Danica blows her engine. Would like to see Dale Earnhardt Jr win the Daytona 500 .

As you can see, I brought some cut daffodils. I’m going tried some infrared shot over the weekend. Maybe the stragglers will be full bloom too.

Was going try to write a series of hay(na)ku with the words. Couldn’t settle down this weekend. Might try again this weekend. It is a fun and challenging form to work with.

She now only one thing -

Whistle those merry notes and the life’s ghost
will nestle back into their corner shadows.
But enough of this, nothing will be scorched tonight.
For the last clouds have smudged the winter’s sun
into the most wonderful circle of white light.

And from that prefect cast circle
      comes the silver crown of a redeemer

She will allow her sore filled body to be crucified,
letting her cold blood find the up stretched hands.
Blessing those who too, walked on the rose’s thorns.
But there will be no rising from the stone bed.
Nothing to think about – below the horizon of time.

And if all was, but a bizarre dream of a late night.
Let it be like a falling star caught by a grey eye.
Bright, graceful and the knowing of it’s life.

The knowing – that everything is the grace of a God.

Woke up to this

How can snow be tiresome when this winter sorely lack it?  Simple -

Wake up this wonderful scene and by noon all it was gone Yes, the sad truth is, the last two days I have been waking up to a winter wonderland  and then watch it disappear. The temps are to blame. When we had cold weather, there was no snow. When there’s warm temps, the snow comes.  It’s still winter and I still would like to see one more good snowfall and for it to stick to around. But the way this winter is going, not going happen.

Sure people thinks it’s s wonderful that Spring is coming earlier. But! an earlier spring might mean an early summer too. Which in turn could mean a long blah hot summer.  My summer up here are long enough, thank you!

Also two good thing happen this week- Boss is back and I got watch Breaking Dawn pt1. I love the wedding scene, it was more the most beautiful one I seen in a long time. The transforms scene was excellent too. Kinda looking forward to the next movie. Really didn’t care for the whole Volturi plot.

I just though of something, I have been writing hay(na)ku again. Which a poetry form that was created couple years ago but sadly faded away. I should round them up and post them. They are a fun form to work with because you are only only six words. Yes, just a shame that nobody really writes them anymore. I don’t even think the creator write them anymore too. Sad.

No weeping here – as the holy visions
are blurred and fog becomes the sweet charm.
Some needs to interview the Devil again,
my life has been ransacked and sold to a bidder.

And so, one waits on the river bank for the ferryman
not to be ferry to death but another spot in life.
Where one can’t trade for another street to cobble
together another set of mismatch years.

Snow, snow – where are you? Come!
Please enter me, I have a gold star for you
if you pave this last road sparkling white.
All wants that gold star to simple show
that the soul and heart did bow and behave.

Yes! Yes! and yes. I told the truth -

I walk the path that this heart traded
with the perfect reason of others walkers.
And yes – the sun is wonderful and the stars
do sing beautiful on a late summer night.

But the Moon and I do love to hide
          the nights grows bitter cold and long.

Yes and yes, I wrote the delicate truth -

All deck out in the oranges, yellows and the reds.
Footsteps, footsteps – not coming but will on a sunset.
Either theirs or mine will come to that point as the murderer.
And where God will say “Hello” and embrace the -

For now, wishing for the last snow
to take the road and mangle it back into
a line of perfect snow touched pines.

I don’t want to feel life anymore.

But today I stood in the sun and really felt it strength. I look at the calender and I know at the end of the month, I’ll take down all the winter stuff in the kid’s room. Then begin putting up the flower garden theme for spring and summer. I’m hoping this weekend, to start making the sun to hang from the ceiling. Then some the clouds, a moon and stars to join the sun .Oh I also have take the snow globe pattern and turn it into a fishbowl.  Hoping to have an octopus looking like it’s escaping from the bowl.  Plus a shark, mermaid and cave with  yellow eyes peering the black opening.  The kids would like that.

The Sunday Whirl group is going great. Enjoying doing the challenges, I just need the Muse to stop showing up so late at night.  But I keep writing the poems until I need recharge my batteries. Then I’ll take a break.

Was hoping to find something interesting  on my walk to snap a picture. But all the browns are boring me now!!! Did have some nice bucks in the yard yesterday. But it was getting dark and even 800 iso couldn’t get my a great picture of them.

Next week, boss comes back to work. YES!!!!!!!!!

Ok I’ll admit, that word tripped me up. So I just used it as a title , since I rarely use titles for my poems. It was another late night poem. I had no inkling how this poem would go, just follow my instincts and with a good dose of passion. Got have passion in the poems and if you are really brave. Dance on the edge of of it. Yea, you might get bloody on it.

But at least you are wonderfully free !!!!

                      Staccato

No more of my wandering petulant I -

Oh, lets us latch on the last sweet lover.
After all, this night is cold and young.
and death too, does not like the cold wind.

Then tomorrow, exile all the billowing thoughts
and shadows of dreams darting between the hours.
As if, all was that simple at the dusk hour, when this I
will always be the curved fuses of the rebellion.

Plead innocent, plead guilty, never mattering
with the black hangman noose you loved before.
Or was this day for the metallic glint of a gun?
Screams and cold steel do fabricate those thoughts.

Oh never mind – the accusations will decay back
into an atom, along with the white scars of winter.
I simple want to live and maybe love a life but that too -

is dubious dream to cradle and love into a spring day.

No such thing as bad photos, just future artworks!

Ah yes! there’s nothing like watching a poem you had misgiving, come together  tonight quite beautifully. Oh course being a woman, certain time of the month sometimes doesn’t help the poem getting to it’s final form last night. It was one those night, what did I write because the pages were so messy. But it does a great job of giving it a nice sharp edge when I wrote it.

Enough of my frozen serenity
that permeates in these fields of flesh.
Give this I – the first born of anguish.

After all, isn’t it always true ?

That everybody is dancing on their sweet graves
as we breathe in and out the day’s crisp minutes.
And for tonight, can the snowflakes be reborn
while the flames of time adds ashes to ashes.

Did I startle or shock somebody with the lines?
There’s always some soul who can walk backwards
and then walk forward, erasing all that was born
between those words and the quarter turn of the earth.

Yes to be childlike again, so the sinless joy is a grace.
That all is safe, as heard in a faint parent’s voice
after a night gone wrong in a child’s sweet eyes.
And I -

can stop being the tyrant and simple cry the tears.

Hrm, Not the best post unfortunately. Sorry to be so blunt! You should try some Norwegian carrot cake ( ) to cheer you up instead.
